Urchagam is about the difficulties that exist between marrying for love and marrying for money. Jency is a young woman who is adored by her good friend Ganesh. When Ganesh proclaims his love for her, she gives him heartbreaking news; she has committed to marry someone else, a wealthy man named Nicholas.
Jency feels compelled to marry Nicholas because he has paid for her mother's surgery. However, between the time of her engagement and the day of her wedding, Jency will discover what type of man she is about to marry. Ganesh will do everything in his power to intervene and prove that he is the right man for her.
