Unwed Father is a heartwarming made-for-television movie from 1997. It follows the story of a young man named Scott, played by Brian Austin Green, who is just beginning his adult life. Scott has his whole future ahead of him, but he finds himself unexpectedly becoming a father. Before the birth of his child, Scott is a carefree guy who is enjoying life with his girlfriend, Lisa, played by Nicholle Tom. However, when Lisa tells him she is pregnant, their world is turned upside down. Lisa decides to give the baby up for adoption, and though Scott is hesitant at first, he ultimately agrees to go along with her plan.

However, when Scott holds the baby for the first time, he is hit with a wave of emotion and realizes that he wants to be a father to his child. He tries to convince Lisa to keep the baby, but she refuses, and their relationship begins to fall apart.

Scott decides to fight for custody of his child, but he quickly discovers that the legal system is not on his side. The judge in his case assumes that because he is a young, unmarried man that he is not capable of being a good father. Scott is determined to prove the judge wrong and to show that he is willing to do whatever it takes to be a good father to his child.

Throughout the movie, Scott faces a number of challenges as he navigates the complicated world of fatherhood. He struggles with finding a job that will allow him to support his child, and he has to deal with disapproving family members who cannot understand why he would choose to raise a child on his own.

Despite these challenges, Scott never gives up, and his determination ultimately pays off. He is able to prove to the judge that he is a capable father, and he is granted custody of his child. The movie ends on a heartwarming note, with Scott and his child walking off into the sunset, ready to face whatever comes their way.
