They ask Selma for her sewing kit, which they use to make Steven an epic cosmic suit, fueling his passion for sci-fi and adding a touch of whimsy to his otherwise dreary life.

But as the end draws near, Selma's condition worsens, and Steven becomes desperate to save her. He runs away to find a cure, only to return home and find that Selma has already passed.
