Unaccompanied Minors is a family comedy movie released in 2006. Directed by Paul Feig, the movie follows the story of a group of children, known as "unaccompanied minors," who get stranded in a snowstorm at an airport on Christmas Eve. The movie begins with a young boy named Spencer (Dyllan Christopher) having a tough time dealing with his parents' divorce. When he and his younger sister Katherine (Dominique Saldana) are heading to their father's house for Christmas, their flight gets delayed due to a snowstorm. Spencer and Katherine, along with four other unaccompanied minors, end up stuck in the airport's Unaccompanied Minors Room.

The room is run by an uptight and overbearing airport employee named Oliver (Lewis Black), who makes it clear that he has no tolerance for nonsense. Despite his strict rules, the kids find ways to have fun and make the most of their time at the airport. They create a Christmas tree out of luggage, play games, and prank the airport staff.

However, trouble starts when two of the kids, Charles (Tyler James Williams) and Donna (Gina Mantegna), decide to break out of the room to visit Charles's father in the airport lounge. The others follow, and chaos ensues as they try to evade Oliver and other airport personnel.

As they wander through the airport, the kids face numerous obstacles and challenges, including navigating an underground baggage system and getting chased by security guards. Along the way, they learn about teamwork, friendship, and the importance of standing up for yourself.

Throughout the movie, there are several subplots involving the kids' personal lives. Spencer is struggling with his parents' divorce, Charles misses his father who lives in the airport, Donna is trying to cope with the loss of her mother, and Grace (Brett Kelly) is pretending to be someone she's not. As they spend time together, they help each other overcome their struggles and grow as individuals.

One of the highlights of the movie is the cast. The young actors, including Dyllan Christopher, Tyler James Williams, and Gina Mantegna, do an excellent job portraying their characters. The adult actors, such as Lewis Black and Wilmer Valderrama, also deliver great performances.

While Unaccompanied Minors is primarily a comedy, it also has heartwarming moments that will leave audiences feeling warm and fuzzy inside. The message of the movie is about the power of friendship and how even in the most unlikely situations, you can find people who will support you.

Overall, Unaccompanied Minors is a fun and heartwarming movie that families can enjoy together. It's a perfect pick for the holiday season or any time you need a good laugh.

Unaccompanied Minors is a 2006 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 29 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.3 and a MetaScore of 43.
