Trollhunter is a dark fantasy film and mock documentary that opened to generally popular reviews. The film follows a group of college students that take it upon themselves to find out what is happening to many local bears who seem to be being poached but left where they lay. They meet a man whom they think is the notorious bear hunter but he ignores them and refuses a interview. The students follow him into a dense and mysterious forest were the man quickly emerges from yelling about trolls. The students are confused and then terrified as an enormous troll emerges behind the man. The man explains that he is not a poacher of bears but a troll hunter, a slayer of the mythical beasts through the use of a UV flashlight gun that simulates the rays of the sun to which trolls are exceedingly sensitive.
