In the year 2247, Los Angeles is a dystopian society ruled by a powerful and corrupt government. The city is plagued by a new drug, called "trancers," which turns its users into zombie-like state, under the control of a mysterious figure known as Whistler. Enter Jack Deth (Tim Thomerson), a rogue cop from the future who is sent back in time to stop Whistler before he can rise to power. Jack is assisted in his mission by Leena (Helen Hunt), a psychic who has the ability to track Whistler's movements.
With the help of Leena, Jack navigates the seedy underbelly of 1980s Los Angeles, facing off against Whistler's army of trancers at every turn. Jack soon learns that Whistler is not working alone, and that his ultimate plan is far more sinister than anyone could have imagined.
As Jack races against the clock to stop Whistler and his nefarious cohorts, the stakes grow higher and the danger increases. With pulse-pounding action sequences, edge-of-your-seat suspense, and a healthy dose of sci-fi flair, Trancers is a thrilling ride from start to finish.
