Time to Pay is a 1999 crime thriller directed by Chris McIntyre and starring John Schafer, Victor Love, Wanda De Jesus, and Ron Dean. The movie is set in Chicago, where a group of criminals is about to pull off a big heist. John Schafer plays Eddie, the leader of the gang. He's a hardened criminal, who is only in it for the money. Victor Love plays Tito, the muscle of the gang. He's a tough guy, who isn't afraid to use violence to get what he wants. Wanda De Jesus plays Maria, Eddie's girlfriend, who is also involved in the heist. Ron Dean plays Detective Nate Grossman, the cop who's trying to catch the gang.

The setup of the movie is pretty straightforward. The gang is planning to rob a nightclub owned by a rich businessman. The plan is to steal the money from the cash register and take off before the cops arrive. However, things don't go according to plan, and the gang is forced to take a hostage.

From this point on, the movie becomes a tense standoff between the gang and the police. The gang is holed up in a motel room with the hostage, while the cops surround the building. Eddie is in charge of negotiations, and he tries to convince the cops to let them go in exchange for the hostage. However, Detective Nate Grossman isn't having any of it. He knows that the gang is dangerous, and he's determined to take them down.

As the standoff continues, tensions rise, and the situation becomes more and more volatile. The gang members start to turn on each other, and trust becomes a scarce commodity. Meanwhile, Detective Grossman uses every trick in his book to try and catch the gang. He's willing to do whatever it takes to bring them to justice, even if it means putting himself in harm's way.

The acting in Time to Pay is solid across the board. John Schafer is a convincing villain, who exudes menace and cruelty. Victor Love is great as the tough guy with a heart of gold, and Wanda De Jesus is convincing as the femme fatale. Ron Dean is also excellent as the determined cop, who's willing to do whatever it takes to bring the gang to justice.

Overall, Time to Pay is a solid crime thriller that delivers plenty of tension and excitement. While it doesn't break any new ground in terms of plot or characters, it's a well-made movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you're a fan of the genre, it's definitely worth a watch.

Time to Pay is a 1999 drama with a runtime of 1 hour and 40 minutes. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.9.
