Watch Thug Life

Thug Life is a Punjabi language film released in 2017. The movie stars Harish Verma, Jass Bajwa, and Rajiv Thakur. It is a crime drama with a strong focus on family and relationships. The film centers around the character of Amritsar Singh aka Ammy (Harish Verma), a small-time criminal who dreams of making it big in the criminal world. He must navigate this dangerous world while also dealing with his complicated family dynamics.

He is torn between his loyalty to his friends and his responsibility towards his family. Along the way, he learns some hard lessons about the consequences of his actions.

The film's strength lies in its characterizations. Harish Verma delivers a convincing performance as Ammy, portraying him as more than just a one-dimensional criminal. However, the film does have some shortcomings. The plot is predictable, and the film's treatment of women is regressive. Jasleen is reduced to a mere prop in Ammy's story, and her character is never given enough agency or depth. Additionally, the film's violence may be too intense for some viewers.

Overall, Thug Life is an entertaining crime drama that offers some thought-provoking insights into the nature of ambition, family, and friendship. While it has its flaws, it is worth watching for its strong performances and engaging storyline.
