Watch Thug Kidz

A group of inner city young people (ages 6 - 14) are accused of a crime they didn't commit, arrested and labeled "thugs". With no adult believing in them, they decide to investigate the killing and find the true murderer on their own. After a hard day of basketball in their neighborhood, a crew of young people find themselves thirsty. They decide to stop at the local bodega only to discover Pancho's lifeless body laying behind the counter. The chidren panic and decide to run. While running away from the store, a nosey neighbor Ms. Flowers (Patricia Greenidge) see them. The next day the young people are arrested. The families go into chaos as the different parents panic and turn on each other. One of the young people, Star (Makada Lamont) confesses to the killing in an effort to free her friends. The others are released. They attempt to convince the unyielding parents of their innocence. When this doesn't work, Monte (Andre Shanks) calls an emergency meeting. The kids decide to investigate the murder without the help of their parents. All heck breaks loose as these young "thugs' turn into private investigators!
