Thodari is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Prabhu Solomon. It stars Dhanush and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles, with Ganesh Venkatraman, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, and Harish Uthaman in supporting roles. The film is set on a train and follows the journey of a group of passengers and how they face a crisis onboard.

The story begins with Poochiyappan (Dhanush), a pantry worker on a train named Chennai Express. He falls in love with Saroja (Keerthy Suresh), a passenger on the train. The two of them bond over their love for music and gradually fall in love. One night, while on board, the train gets derailed due to a natural calamity. The passengers, including Poochiyappan and Saroja, get trapped inside the train and are left to fend for themselves.

As the night progresses, the passengers realize that they are in grave danger as the train hurtles towards a cliff. They must come up with a plan to save themselves and find a way to reach out to the outside world for help. But as they try to survive and find a way to escape, they soon realize that there is a group of criminals on board the train, who are intent on robbing the passengers and escaping.

As the journey of the train continues, the passengers must face various challenges in their quest to survive. They must deal with the criminals on board and try to protect themselves and each other. They are also forced to confront their past and face their fears, while at the same time, forging new friendships and alliances.

The film is well-directed by Prabhu Solomon, who does an excellent job in keeping the audience engaged with the film's many twists and turns. The screenplay is engaging and manages to hold the viewer’s attention throughout. The film's cinematography is also commendable, and the train sequences are shot with great realism.

Dhanush and Keerthy Suresh deliver noteworthy performances as Poochiyappan and Saroja, respectively. The chemistry between the two actors is excellent, and their scenes together are a delight to watch. Ganesh Venkatraman also shines in his role as the antagonist, and his portrayal of a cold-blooded criminal is both convincing and effective.

Music by D. Imman is one of the highlights of the film, and the songs are well-composed and perfectly complement the film's mood and theme. The standout track is undoubtedly “Adadaa Ithuyenna,” which is soulful and well-sung by Haricharan and Vandana Srinivasan.

Overall, Thodari is an entertaining watch with an engaging storyline, solid performances, and excellent music. While the film's focus is on the passengers on board the train and their struggle for survival, it also manages to touch upon various themes such as love, friendship, betrayal, and redemption. If you're a fan of action thrillers, then Thodari is definitely worth watching.
