The Turin Horse is a 2011 Hungarian movie based on a rumored event involving Friedrich Nietzche in 1889. In that event, Nietzche is said to have begun his descent into insanity after he stopped a horse being whipped in the Italian town of Turin. The black and white film doesn’t focus on Nietzche.
