Cezary is living in Russia when the Russian Revolution begins and takes the life of the woman he loves and the majority of his friends and family. As the Revolution continues Cezary is encouraged to flee to Poland in a bid to save his own life. After joining the Bolshevik forces Cezary saves the life of another man who offers him the chance to live on the estate of his family when the war is over, however love once again enters the world of Cezary and complicates his life once more.
