Watch The Sixth

The 1981 Soviet movie The Sixth is about politics and a lack of human law. The setting is 1923 after the Russian Civil War ended. A group of White army insurgents, who were fighting against the ruling Bolshevik forces, were hiding in the mountains, raiding Soviet institutions and government entities. Five local chiefs have been killed by the Whites. The movie's protagonist is the sixth chief. This sixth chief is smarter than his previous leaders. He attempts to mobilize and motivate the local townspeople and give them hope. But there's a mole inside the group that alerts the Whites regarding activities. The sixth local chief decides to use this very mole against the White army.
