The Shed is a horror movie that will make your blood run cold with its spine-chilling storyline. The movie begins with a troubled teenager named Stan, played by Jay Jay Warren, who has a difficult life at home and school. He lives with his abusive grandfather and is constantly bullied by his high school classmates. One day, while taking a shortcut through the woods, Stan and his friend Dom, played by Cody Kostro, stumble across an old barn that seems to have a presence of evil. They quickly realize that something sinister is lurking inside the shed and they need to find a way to destroy it before it destroys them.

As their attempts to destroy the shed prove unsuccessful, the boys soon "adopt" the creature living inside the shed, for they find that it feeds on blood and can only come out during the night. They begin to capture people who have wronged them, feeding them to the creature to keep it from going on a rampage. However, one of their victims goes missing and they soon realize that the creature is becoming more powerful and dangerous.

Meanwhile, Stan's life at home is becoming unbearable as his grandfather becomes more abusive and physically violent towards him. The situation at school is no better, as the bullying intensifies, with Stan becoming more isolated and more desperate.

As the story progresses, the boys begin to plot a way to destroy the shed, but what they don't realize is that the shed has an eternal curse that has been there for centuries, and the creature is merely a manifestation of the curse. It can't be killed, and it won't stop until it has consumed all of the boys' blood and their souls.

The Shed is a well-constructed horror movie, full of suspense and horror, with a few gruesome scenes that will make your skin crawl. The storyline is easy to follow, with several intriguing subplots running parallel to each other. The cast of actors does an outstanding job portraying their respective characters. Jay Jay Warren and Cody Kostro are excellent in their roles and bring a sense of realism to their performances, while James Ward as the sinister creature in the shed is really creepy and unnerving to watch.

The horror elements of the movie are well-timed, with the build-up of suspense being gradual and the payoffs being satisfying. The creature design is also effective, with the practical effects adding to the overall intensity of the movie. Furthermore, the music score is also very good, setting the perfect tone for the impending tension.

Overall, The Shed is a must-watch for horror enthusiasts looking for a well-crafted horror movie that delivers on its promise. It's also a great achievement for a directorial debut for Frank Sabatella, who has created a movie that will leave you breathless from start to finish. If you're looking for a new horror experience, give The Shed a watch.
