The Seven Magnificent Gladiators is a 1983 Italian-American fantasy adventure film directed by Bruno Mattei and Claudio Fragasso. The film is loosely based on the classic story of the Seven Samurai, but set in ancient Rome. The film begins with the evil Queen Gedren (Sybil Danning) killing the rightful rulers of a kingdom and stealing a powerful magic crystal. She plans to take control of the entire world with its power. In response, a group of brave gladiators must band together to defeat the queen and restore peace to the land.

The leader of the group is Han (Lou Ferrigno), a former gladiator who has been living in exile. He is a powerful and skilled fighter, but also a man of heart and compassion. He is joined by six other gladiators: Lilith (Carla Ferrigno), a fierce warrior with a tragic past; Scipio (Brad Harris), an experienced fighter with a dry wit; Marcus (Dan Vadis), a muscular and loyal soldier; Theodorus (Giovanni Cianfriglia), a wise and knowledgeable teacher; Tydeus (Oreste Lionello), a boisterous and reckless fighter; and Goliath (Yehuda Efroni), a gigantic and unstoppable force of nature.

The journey to Queen Gedren's stronghold is full of danger and adventure. Along the way, the group faces fierce opposition from Gedren's army and encounters various obstacles, including treacherous terrain and deadly traps. They also meet a variety of colorful characters, some of whom are helpful in their quest, while others are treacherous and deceitful.

As the gladiators draw closer to their goal, they must confront their own fears and weaknesses in order to remain united and strong. Han must come to terms with his own past and reconcile with Lilith, while Scipio must learn to work with the others and put aside his own ego. Marcus must overcome his own doubts and fears, and Theodorus must find a way to use his knowledge to help the group succeed.

In the finale, the group faces off against Queen Gedren and her army in a spectacular battle that involves sword fighting, hand-to-hand combat, and even a giant snake. The crystal is shattered, and the gladiators emerge victorious, having saved the kingdom and restored peace to the land.

Overall, The Seven Magnificent Gladiators is a fun and exciting adventure film that features a great cast of characters and plenty of action and suspense. The film has a strong moral message about the power of unity and the importance of standing up against tyranny and oppression. Fans of classic adventure films like Conan the Barbarian and The Princess Bride will definitely enjoy this movie.

The Seven Magnificent Gladiators is a 1983 adventure movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 26 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.7.
