The final movie appearance of silent comedy icon Buster Keaton serves as a comedy masterclass as the important issue of construction site safety is discussed. Keaton plays the janitor at a newspaper who picks up a ringing phone and is mistaken for a journalist before being ordered to investigate safety practices at a large building site. Once at the site Keaton uses a list of safety rules he finds and tries to see if the rules are being followed by the workers at the site.
