John Forte is a Grammy nominated musician that has lived a life filled with turmoil, greed, corruption, and nothing short of hardship. The film conveys the story of his growing up in an extremely dangerous neighborhood in the vast borough of Brooklyn, New York. Despite growing up in such tumultuous conditions, Forte was able to escape many of the dangers of the streets and eventually make it to a distinguished boarding school. It was not long after than he found himself sitting in a federal prison.
