Carly Renee is just a small town girl who grows up on a coastal farming town in the city of Wellsville, California. When her father dies suddenly, she is left to defend the farm against looters, raise her siblings, and care for her sick mother. The stress of her new life leads Carly to abandon her true love: singing. Years later, she runs into an agent from Hollywood, and he happens to overhear her singing. He signs her to his new label, and her life changes forever. She must now face the reality of choosing between fame and family.
