The Perfect Couple is about the story of a journalist named Detective Kang Jae Hyuk, who discovers a troublesome journalist named Choi Soo Jin, obtains Jae Hyuk's delicious snack that strangely finds it's way into his abdomen, instantly killing him. Things begin to get even weirder when Kang becomes the media representative for the police department, while Choi is sent the crime reporting department. As the story progresses, both Kang and Choi start off as enemies, but they later become the perfect couple.
