The Peacekeeper is a 1997 action-thriller film that stars Dolph Lundgren, Michael Sarrazin, and Montel Williams. The movie is directed by Frederic Forestier, and the screenplay is written by Alan Simpson and Richard Preston Jr. The movie is centered around an ex-Army intelligence officer, Frank Cross (Dolph Lundgren), who now serves as a U.N. peacekeeper. Frank is tasked with deactivating a nuclear warhead that has been stolen by a group of terrorists who intend to use it to hold the world for ransom. The warhead is aboard an airplane in mid-air, and the terrorists plan to detonate it over a major city, causing catastrophic damage and loss of life.

As Frank sets out to stop the terrorists and deactivate the bomb, he faces several obstacles, including the terrorists and a group of rogue U.S. soldiers who want to use the bomb for their own purposes. Complicating matters further, one of the terrorists is a former lover of Frank’s, who he must confront and turn against her fellow terrorists.

With the help of a U.S. National Security Advisor (Michael Sarrazin) and a U.S. National Guardsman (Montel Williams), Frank sets out to stop the terrorists and save the world from a catastrophic nuclear attack.

The action in the movie takes place over several locations, including the airplane, various military bases, and a missile silo. The pacing of the movie is brisk, with several action set pieces that keep the audience engaged and on the edge of their seats.

The acting in the movie is solid, with Dolph Lundgren giving a strong performance as the lead character. Michael Sarrazin and Montel Williams also deliver good performances in their respective roles. The chemistry between the three actors is believable, and they work well together to move the story forward.

The movie has some interesting themes, such as the dangers of nuclear proliferation and the use of military force to achieve political goals. The movie does a good job of exploring these themes without becoming preachy or heavy-handed.

Overall, The Peacekeeper is an entertaining action-thriller that delivers on its promises. The movie has a good cast, an interesting story, and plenty of action scenes to keep the audience engaged. Even though the movie is over two decades old, it still holds up as a fun and exciting film that is worth watching. If you are a fan of action movies, The Peacekeeper is definitely one to check out.

The Peacekeeper is a 1997 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 38 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.0.
