Watch The Man Who Knew Love

Originally released in Spain in August of 1978 under the title "El hombre que supo amar," The Man Who Knew Love stars Timothy Dalton, Victoria Abril, Jose Maria Prada, and Antonio Ferrandis. The 141-minute film tells the life story of Saint John of God (in Spanish, San Juan de Dios) and was directed by the renowned Spanish film director Miguel Picazo. St. John is portrayed as an extremely modest man, an inhabitant of Granada who is accused of madness by his critics and locked up in an asylum for his desire to change the world by helping the poorest of the poor.
