The Lost Tribe is a 2010 horror movie that follows a group of young anthropologists who venture into the remote jungle of Borneo to study a long-lost tribe. However, things go terribly wrong when they find themselves stranded and hunted by an unknown entity. The movie focuses on the group of seven anthropologists who arrive in Borneo, eager to find and study the lost tribe. The group consists of five students, their professor, and a guide who is familiar with the jungle. As they venture deeper into the jungle, they find an abandoned village that they suspect belonged to the lost tribe.

As they settle down in the village, strange things start to happen. One of the students disappears, and the group finds evidence of something or someone watching them. They soon realize that they are not alone in the jungle and that they have awoken something sinister.

The Lost Tribe brilliantly builds up the tension, using the eerie jungle setting and the unknown entity to keep the viewers on the edge of their seats. The movie has a slow pace in the beginning, focusing on the anthropology study and the group's dynamics. However, once the action starts, the momentum never stops.

The movie uses jump scares and gore to create a horror-like atmosphere. The gore may be too much for some viewers, but it is executed well, adding to the movie's overall unsettling feeling.

The actors all did an excellent job, particularly Emily Baldoni as Maya, the group's leader, and Nick Mennell as Eric, the group's comedic relief. Marc Bacher as the guide also provided excellent support to the group, although his character may seem too convenient at times.

The Lost Tribe isn't the most original horror movie out there, but it executes its concept perfectly. It uses the jungle setting and the lost tribe premise to create a unique horror experience that keeps the viewers invested until the very end.

The movie's only weakness is its ending. It ends abruptly and may leave some viewers feeling unsatisfied. However, overall, The Lost Tribe is a great horror movie that is definitely worth checking out for fans of the genre.

The Lost Tribe is a 2009 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 40 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.8.
