Starring Timothy Dalton as the indestructible agent James Bond (his first film as Bond) and based on the Ian Fleming short story of the same name, this marks the fifteenth Bond picture. In the process of facilitating a seemingly vital KGB officers defection Bond has to shoot an assassin in the hand who is a beautiful young cellist. The truth is much more sinister as it turns out that the defection was half fake, with the officer's girlfriend used to make it seem authentic. Now the two of them are after the officer to uncover his true motives of greed.
