The movie is about a man named Simon Bolivar, who led his troops and the resistance against the Spanish empire deep in South America. The one thing that sets Simon Bolivar apart from other warlords of his time is the fact that when he went on to capture the land that he fought for, he liberated it instead of controlling it. Simon Bolivar's war campaigns covered roughly double the amount of land compared to others like Alexander the Great and Napoleon. He knew how to be commanding and fierce in war, but also very compassionate and caring when it came to the people that he had liberated.
