The soldiers, led by Captain Beckett (Brett Cullen), are stranded and must fight to survive behind enemy lines. Soon, they come across a group of French resistance fighters who agree to help them.
One of the resistance fighters, Jeanette (Elizabeth Rice), takes a particular interest in one of the soldiers, Private Mendenhall (Cody Kasch). Mendenhall is reluctant to open up to Jeanette but eventually confesses that he is haunted by the memory of a soldier who was killed under his command. Meanwhile, the German army is closing in on the group, and they must continue to evade capture.
As tensions rise and danger looms, the soldiers and resistance fighters must work together to survive. Along the way, they encounter a wounded German soldier who is discovered to be gay, which puts his life in grave danger. The group must decide whether or not to help him, and in doing so, they confront their own prejudices and biases.
