An Australian drama thriller inspired by a true story. B.C. Simmonds is a labor leader who is engaged in a protracted battle to save the historic waterfront of Angel Street in Sydney when he dies unexpectedly. His geologist daughter Jessica returns home and takes over the fight from where he left off with the help of Jeff Elliot, a union leader and friend of her father, as well as other people from the area who oppose the rampant development of their home neighborhood. But in going up against massive corruption and entrenched power they may be risking their very lives.
