Watch The Heritage

The Heritage is a drama. This film is based on Gustav Wied's novel. It details the difficulties of a summer and winter romance. After Baron Helmuth von Leunbach weds a young Alvilda, their union quickly goes down hill. From an overbearing in-law to a distracting house guest, these two can't get a break. Unfortunately, after one of them succumbs to temptation, the other reacts viciously.

Overall, the storyline is tragic. None of the players 'truly' win. Their flaws lead them all astray.
