




The Giant of Thunder Mountain takes place in the remote town of Waterton, Idaho, in 1896 where three teenagers, two boys and a girl, befriend an extremely tall man who lives as hermit on a nearby mountain. The hermit relates the tale of how a giant bear had killed his parents, from which a close friendship ensues. During the movie, the bear that killed the hermit's parents reappears, causing havoc and eventually forcing the hermit to face a lynch mob from the town.
