The Fish Child is a movie about a teenager named Lala who lives in one of the most prominent suburbs in Argentina. Lala is in love with her house cleaner Guayi, who plans to escape with her to Paraguay to start a new life together. To do this, Guayi must secretly rob Lala's family, hiding money and valuables in the house. However, Guayi's box falls apart revealing his robbing mentality, leading to his arrest that tears him away from Lala. Lala becomes desperate to attempt to reconnect with Guayi, revealing some criminal secrets of her own from her childhood.
