Watch The Executioner

The leader of a political party is in exile, but seeks to return to his home country in order to attempt to remove a vile dictator from power. As he seeks to gain support among friends in government, the politician and his family are hunted by assassins hired by those who do not want to see him re-enter the political fray. This South Korean drama, featuring a fictitious plot line but based on true events, was remade for a 1993 release titled "I Will Survive". The newer film is missing some of the more-graphic depictions from the original 1975 picture, including a depiction of rape.
