Watch The Eternal

Originally released as Trance but with a name change upon its DVD release, The Eternal tells the story of a young woman named Nora who suffers from alcoholism. After spending a night drinking with her husband, Jim, Nora takes a tumble down the stairs of their apartment in New York City. Although she survives the fall, Nora starts suffering from hallucinations and other symptoms after the event.

When Nora decides that she wants to overcome her alcohol addiction and wants her husband to do so as well, the couple takes a trip to Ireland to visit Nora's family. While there, the couple discover the Nora's uncle has a big secret in his basement -- the remains of a mummy. What happens next is almost too frightening to bear.

The Eternal is a 1998 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 35 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.5.
