This short comedy explores the friendship of four young Australian aboriginal boys who are members of an aboriginal dance group. 11-year-old Frankie Dollar, the leader of the group struggles with the one year anniversary of his father's death and his sense of identity over the course of a single day. Frankie's life has become darker since the death of his father, and he needs his friends more than ever. His mother is mostly absent, and her white boyfriend is abusive. This unique film explores themes of identity, friendship, abuse and death with humor and grace and appeals to people of all ages.
