Diane Linkletter was born on October 31,1948, the youngest daughter of TV personality, Art Linkletter and his wife, Lois. This is a 10 minute short fictionalized film. Art and Lois are very concerned about their daughter's strange behavior that's a result of drug use. Diane's parents aren't happy with her boyfriend, Jim, and feel he's not good enough for their daughter. After she is confronted by her parents, she decides to move out of the family home into a hippie commune with Jim, instead of breaking up with him and going with a young man from her parents' country club.
