The Devil's Dolls is a horror movie that was released in 2016. Directed by Padraig Reynolds, the movie stars Christopher Wiehl, Kym Jackson, and Tina Lifford. The story takes place in a small town in Louisiana, where a serial killer is on the loose. The killer is nicknamed "The Widower" due to his habit of sending a black doll to the widows of his victims as a macabre calling card.

The movie begins with a striking scene in which a detective pursues The Widower through a maze of alleys and abandoned buildings. The chase ends when the killer jumps off a building and dies, but not before passing a cursed black doll to a young girl who has witnessed his death.

The story then jumps to present day, where we are introduced to a struggling artist named Matt (played by Christopher Wiehl). Matt is a single father who is trying to raise his daughter Chloe (played by Kennedy Brice) and make ends meet with his modest paintings. One day, Matt purchases the cursed doll at a yard sale, unaware of its terrible history.

Chloe quickly becomes attached to the doll, but as soon as she has it in her possession, strange things begin to occur. People who come into contact with the doll become possessed by an evil force, causing them to commit violent acts. Soon, the doll's curse spreads, creating a wave of terror throughout the town.

As Matt begins to investigate the cause of the strange occurrences, he discovers that the doll is linked to The Widower and his previous victims. Desperate to protect his daughter and put an end to the curse, Matt teams up with a reporter named Lisa (played by Kym Jackson) to hunt down the doll's previous owners and unravel the mystery of The Widower's past.

The Devil's Dolls is a spooky and thrilling horror movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The performances are solid across the board, with Christopher Wiehl delivering a particularly strong performance as the sympathetic father trying to protect his daughter from supernatural forces.

The movie is well-paced, with plenty of jump scares and suspenseful moments to keep you engaged. The atmosphere is dark and eerie, with the swampy Louisiana setting adding an additional layer of unease.

Overall, The Devil's Dolls is a great horror movie that is perfect for fans of the genre. It offers plenty of scares, a compelling story, and solid performances from its cast. If you're looking for a scary movie to watch on a dark night, this one should definitely be on your list.
