Watch The Defector

A deadly game of cat and mouse is played in East Germany with the Cold War at its height, with two rival scientists finding a new found respect for each other as they fight over the microfilm secrets of a defecting Communist scientist. American Professor James Bower is recruited to a secret arm of the CIA as he is about to be dispatched behind the Iron Curtain because of his skills as a physicist. Bower is pitted against rival scientist, Peter Heinzmann, in the fight for the microfilm and begins to respect the other scientist for his skills and intelligence.
