Watch The City

The City is a 1998 neo-realist movie. It was directed and written by David Riker. Joseph Rigano is featured in the film in a neo-realist manner with a non-professional cast of actors. The movie is about four vignettes in the poorer neighborhoods of New York City. Latin American immigrants that can hardly speak English are subjected to the mercy of institutions and employers who exploit them. Many of the people are illegally in the United States working hard to send money to their families back home.
