Watch The Children's Story

Rosario is an eleven year old Italian boy living in Naples. As he cares for his aging grandmother, who is becoming increasingly senile, and does what he can to help the women living in a commune, the environment around him begins to have a profound affect on his attitude. He and his friends have always been poor, with limited ways to amuse themselves. Now Rosario finds that his surroundings can be hostile and dangerous due to the criminal element in the area.

As the movie progresses, Rosario becomes overwhelmed by his circumstances and loses his focus on the good things in life.
