For many years the country of Cambodia had been victim to a civil war headed by one of the most violent regimes in the history of any Asian country, the Khmer Rouge. It was during their communist reign that the country of Cambodia fell to extreme famine, nonstop bloodshed, and the destruction of any viable infrastructure. During this time much of the country's historical artifacts and works of art were completely destroyed in order to erase memories of Cambodia's past. This film takes a close look at one such theater that withstood all the attacks and stayed intact until a fire tragically destroyed it in 1994.
