Of the generation following the Abstract Expressionists, Don Judd was one of the key figures among American artists who pioneered new directions in the 1960s. He rejected traditional European painting and sculpture in favor of three-dimensional work, which he called "specific objects". We first visited him in the fall of 1972 at 101 Spring Street, and in the late summer of 1975 in Marfa, Texas.
The Artist's Studio: Donald Judd is a 2012 documentary with a runtime of 28 minutes.
