Termination Man is an action-packed sci-fi movie from 1998. The plot follows the story of a former government agent named Harry, played by Steve Railsback. After an experiment gone wrong, Harry develops a special ability that enables him to read people's memories. However, this power comes with a heavy price tag, as Harry experiences excruciating headaches and episodes of blackout. Although Harry tries to live a normal life, he is relentlessly hunted by a team of killers.

The movie opens with a demonstration of Harry's ability to read memories. A group of government scientists injects Harry with a serum that enhances his brainpower. As a result, Harry can read and absorb knowledge from books in record time. However, when the team of scientists tests Harry's ability on a terrorist, things go south, resulting in the death of the terrorist and the exposure of Harry's abilities.

Fast forward to the present, and we find Harry living a quiet life with his wife and daughter. Harry tries to avoid using his powers, but he soon discovers that his past has come back to haunt him. A group of government agents, led by General Gates (James Farentino), tracks Harry down and demands his cooperation in a mission to retrieve vital information. When Harry refuses to help, Gates orders his team to kill Harry and his family.

With his wife dead and his daughter kidnapped, Harry must use his abilities to find the people responsible for ruining his life. Along the way, Harry meets a seductive and alluring woman named Emma (Athena Massey), who claims to know the whereabouts of his daughter. As they get closer to their target, Harry begins to experience more frequent and intense headaches, which are a signal that his powers are taking a toll on him.

Termination Man is an intense and action-packed thriller that will keep you glued to the screen. The movie explores themes of power and corruption, as well as the consequences of tampering with the human mind. The special effects and fight scenes are well choreographed and hold up well even by today's standards.

Steve Railsback delivers a solid performance as Harry, the conflicted hero who tries to do the right thing but keeps getting pushed into impossible situations. James Farentino is convincing as the ruthless and calculating General Gates, who will stop at nothing to accomplish his mission. Athena Massey is magnetic as Emma, who adds an element of seduction and mystery to the movie.

The pacing of the movie is a little bit uneven, with some scenes feeling rushed while others drag on a bit too long. Also, some of the plot twists and turns are a bit predictable, but the movie still manages to keep you engaged until the end.

Overall, Termination Man is a fun and engaging movie that delivers on its promise of action and sci-fi intrigue. It might not be the most original or groundbreaking movie, but it's certainly worth a watch if you're a fan of the genre.
