Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya is a romantic comedy film released in 2012, directed by Mandeep Kumar and starring Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza, and Om Puri in lead roles. The movie revolves around the story of Viren (Riteish Deshmukh) and Mini (Genelia D'Souza), two young individuals who end up falling in love without realizing it. Viren is a simple and hardworking mechanic who runs a small garage with his father in a small town in Punjab. Meanwhile, Mini, who is the daughter of a wealthy business tycoon- Bhatti (Tinnu Anand), is a free-spirited girl who likes to live life on her terms. She is constantly being pressured by her father to marry a wealthy man of his choice, but she wants to marry for love.
One day, Viren's father gets into an accident with Bhatti and his car gets damaged. Viren, in order to repair the car, goes to Bhatti's house to ask for payment. When he sees Mini, he is immediately smitten with her. Mini, on the other hand, is irritated with Viren's constant presence and dismisses him as a mechanic.
While Bhatti tries to get Mini married to a wealthy and well-settled man, Mini hatches a plan to escape and elope with her boyfriend she's been secretly dating for over a year. But things do not go as planned and Mini accidentally gets kidnapped by a trio of goons who demand a ransom from Bhatti.
In the midst of all this chaos, Viren sees this as an opportunity to win Mini's heart and rescue her from the clutches of the kidnappers. He uses his wit and charm to outsmart the kidnappers and save Mini. Grateful for his help, Mini realizes that she has feelings for Viren and the two eventually confess their love for each other.
However, Bhatti is not happy with their union and tries to separate the two. As a result, Viren and Mini escape to a nearby temple and get married. The rest of the movie deals with the couple's struggle to overcome various obstacles in their married life and find happiness with each other.
The chemistry between Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza is electrifying and their performances are top-notch. Om Puri, who plays Tandon, a henchman for Bhatti, provides comic relief with his excellent timing and dialogue delivery.
The movie's music, composed by Sachin-Jigar, is fantastic and the songs like "Pee Pa Pee Pa Ho Gaya" and "Fann Ban Gayi" are catchy and foot-tapping. The cinematography by Natarajan Subramaniam captures the beautiful locales of Punjab, making it a visual treat for the viewers.
In conclusion, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya is an entertaining and engaging movie that will keep you hooked until the end. It is a must-watch for fans of romantic comedies and features one of the best on-screen couples of Bollywood.
