When it comes to comedy Anchor Bay Entertainment brings a perfect fit with their new comedy “10 years.” The film is a story of a couple Jake (Channing Tatum) who loves his girlfriend deeply and is ready to propose to her (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) until he accidentally runs in to his high school crush after man y years have passed. While Jake’s friend Cully married his then cheerleader girlfriend, he too has been looking forward to reminiscing with old classmates and apologizing to them for bullying them.
Unfortunately things go astray and he ends up going back to where he was before and turning a few heard in the process. While making an ass out of himself and possibly his wife he finds himself trying to win the most popular girl there.
Reunions aren't always so crazy but in this case deep secrets from the past, some possible changes in the future and a little bit of alcohol can help bring everyone together and make for good entertainment. Directed by Jamie Linden and released in September of 2012, this comedic adventure will bring laughter to viewer’s hearts and tears to their eyes for its dramatic counterparts.
While it is only rated PG-13, parents may want to consider what they feel is appropriate for children and teens over 13. This movie does provide some foul language, and references to adult topics. No matter male or female however this film is sure to give out a good laugh and keep you on the edge of the seat thinking “what will happen next?”
Watch this movie alone or with your significant other and don’t forget to grab your favorite movie snacks of popcorn, candy and pop. This film is a great hit and will bring you and yours a great movie night and some fun at home this year.
