Tell Me How I Die is a 2016 American horror-thriller movie directed by D.J. Viola and stars Nathan Kress, Virginia Gardner, Kirby Bliss Blanton, and other talented actors. The film follows a group of college students who volunteer for a clinical trial of a new drug that is meant to suppress their fears and anxiety. However, things take a turn for the worse when they start having terrifying and violent visions of the future, leading them to question whether they are really alive or dead.

The movie begins with a group of college students signing up for a clinical trial of a new drug that is supposed to help them overcome their fears and anxieties. As they start taking the drug, they begin to experience intense and vivid visions of the future, which start to become increasingly violent and terrifying. The students initially brush off the visions as mere hallucinations, but soon they realize that the drug is causing them to see their own deaths.

The main character, Anna, played by Virginia Gardner, is initially hesitant to participate in the trial due to a recent loss, but her friends convince her to sign up. Together with her friends, including Marcus (Nathan Kress) and Den (Kirby Bliss Blanton), they make up a group of six that take part in the trial, overseen by Dr. Jerrems (William Mapother). As they continue taking the drug, the visions become more and more graphic and intense, leading to paranoia and fear among the group.

Soon enough, the students start realizing that the visions they are having are actually premonitions of their own deaths, and that they are meant to solve a mystery in order to change their fate. As they are slowly picked off one by one, Anna and Marcus team up to try and uncover the truth behind the drug and the visions it's causing, all the while racing against time to save themselves and their friends.

The film is a great blend of horror, suspense, and mystery, with a really interesting concept that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The special effects are top-notch, especially when it comes to the terrifying visions that the characters are having. The cast is also solid, with Virginia Gardner delivering a strong performance as Anna, the protagonist who is struggling to come to terms with her own loss and the horrors that she is experiencing.

One of the things I particularly like about this movie is the fact that the characters are not just one-dimensional stereotypes, but have actual personalities and backstories that make them relatable and sympathetic. There is a good balance of humor and horror, and while some of the scares are predictable, there are a few twists and turns that you won't see coming.

In terms of flaws, I would say that the pacing can be a bit slow at times, and some of the characters are not as fleshed out as they could have been. The film also falls into some genre cliches, particularly towards the end, but this doesn't detract too much from the overall experience.

In conclusion, Tell Me How I Die is a solid horror-thriller that is bound to satisfy fans of the genre. With its engaging concept, strong cast, and well-executed scares, it is definitely worth a watch. Just be warned, you might be a little hesitant to sign up for any clinical trials after watching it!
