Tag is a 2018 comedy film that is based on a true story about a group of friends who have been playing the same game of tag for over three decades. The movie stars Jeremy Renner, Ed Helms, Jake Johnson along with Hannibal Buress, Isla Fisher, Rashida Jones, Leslie Bibb, Jon Hamm and Annabelle Wallis. At the center of the story is a group of five childhood friends who started playing tag when they were just nine-year olds. The game would be played every May during the same month that Jerry (Renner), the most elusive player, would be getting married. The aim of the game was to tag each other in unexpected places at unexpected times, such as mid-air during a business meeting.

Now, as adults, the group is still playing the game every May, leading up to Jerry's wedding day. However, the gang has gone their separate ways, living completely different lifestyles. One of them, Hoagie (Helms), is a successful businessman, and he decides to unite the group once again to beat the elusive Jerry. Hoagie manages to track down the other players — the laid-back slacker Chilli (Johnson), the always-on-edge Sable (Buress), and the recently-divorced Bob (Hamm).

The game of tag provides the opportunity for the five friends to reconnect and rekindle their friendship, as well as to bond over new experiences. In their attempt to tag Jerry, they embark on a wild, unpredictable and adventurous journey.

The movie is full of humor and is capable of making you laugh from beginning to end. The ultimate chase between Jerry and his friends is full of surprises, thrills and slapstick moments, as they try to outwit and out-tag each other.

Not only does the movie have laugh-out-loud moments, but it also has a heartwarming theme about friendship that will touch the audience's hearts. It teaches the valuable lesson that no matter how long it has been since we have seen each other, true friends will always pick up right where they left off.

On the technical side, the movie has great cinematography and direction with a very lively and colorful appearance. The acting in the movie is also commendable, with each actor bringing their own unique style to their role. Jeremy Renner particularly shines as the elusive Jerry, bringing in his experience as an action star, and Ed Helms brings his hilarious and awkward style to the role of Hoagie.

Overall, Tag is a fun, wild ride that will make you laugh and at the same time tug at your heartstrings. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie with your friends, and you will surely be reminded of the memorable moments and true friendships you have in your own lives.

Tag is a 2018 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 40 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.5 and a MetaScore of 56.
