British businessman Charlie meets the unconventional Sara as both are taking a New York City driving test, the pair quickly begin a strange relationship that is the pattern of Sara's life. Charlie agrees to live with Sara for one month to allow her to repair the problems she feels he has in life. The relationship is given a deadline of the end of November, at which point both Charlie and Sara know he will be replaced by another man for Sara to try and repair.
