Sutures is a 2009 horror-thriller directed by Tammi Sutton and stars Andrew Prine, Jason London, and Carlos Lauchu. The movie follows a group of college friends who reunite after ten years to remember their fallen friend, Cathy, who died in a tragic accident during their graduation party. But as they come together, they are confronted with strange occurrences that hint at something much darker and more sinister lurking beneath the surface.

The film opens with a flashback to the graduation party where Cathy died. We see her friends, now in their late twenties, struggling to come to terms with what happened. Many of them have guilt and resentment from that night, and they are all dealing with the trauma in their own ways. But they all agree to come to the memorial to honor their friend.

After they arrive at the remote location, strange things start to happen. They hear noises in the woods, see things moving in the shadows, and begin to have visions of the accident. Their unease turns to terror when they realize that someone is stalking them, and it quickly becomes apparent that their reunion was not a coincidence.

As the night progresses, tensions rise, secrets are revealed, and relationships fracture. Each of these characters has a dark side, and some of them have been keeping secrets from each other since that fateful night. But they are all just victims in a much larger, more insidious game.

The pacing of Sutures is excellent, keeping the audience on edge with suspenseful scenes and creepy foreshadowing. The film's sound design is also noteworthy, with subtle whispers and unsettling ambient noises that add to the overall atmosphere of dread.

The performances are strong across the board, with each actor bringing a unique energy and chemistry to the group dynamic. Andrew Prine is particularly captivating as the mysterious Dr. Francis, who seems to know more than he lets on about what's happening.

Sutures explores themes of guilt, regret, and the lasting impact of trauma. It's a film that will stick with viewers long after the credits roll, as they try to piece together the twisted plot and decipher the meaning behind the haunting imagery.

Overall, Sutures is a gripping and unsettling horror-thriller that will keep audiences guessing until the very end. It's a must-watch for fans of the genre, and it firmly establishes Tammi Sutton as a talented director with a unique vision.
