Watch Supermarket Woman

This is a 1996 Japanese romantic comedy. The film director's wife is the star of the movie. In the plot, she's hired by a supermarket that has fallen down on hard times, to help it compete against the new rival across the street. The woman helps the failing supermarket improve their customer service methods and introduces a plan to only sell fresh food. Her aggressive plans anger the store's management, who aren't set on drastic change. But over time, the supermarket begins to gain the customers it lost. A supermarket war between the two stores begins, with hilarious results seen throughout the film.
