Superchondriac is a French comedy film released in 2014 and directed by Dany Boon. The thought of leaving his own country and going to Russia terrifies Romain but he eventually agrees to it. Once in Russia, Romain undergoes a series of unconventional treatments in a hospital that Dr. Dimitri has set up for his wealthy clients.

During his stay in Russia, Romain meets Anna, played by Alice Pol, who works as a translator for Dr. Dimitri. Anna takes a liking to Romain and helps him adapt to the culture and language of Russia. Romain, in turn, starts to develop feelings for Anna but is too afraid to tell her due to his hypochondria.

As the film progresses, we see Romain’s hypochondria gradually decrease as he spends time in Russia and starts to embrace a different lifestyle. However, things become complicated when he learns that Dr. Dimitri has a hidden agenda and has been using him and his fellow patients for his own financial gain. This knowledge comes as a shock to Romain and he decides to take matters into his own hands to expose Dr. Dimitri’s fraudulent ways.
