The action in this family adventure film takes place on a ranch in the Pampas region of Argentina. Three youngsters have come to spend the summer with their grandfather and each child encounters a new challenge. The youngest makes friends with a puppy, the middle child is making the confusing transition from childhood to the teen years, and the eldest son decides he is ready to train and break in his first horse. Along the way, each grandchild learns some important lessons about rural life in addition to growing up by the time their summer vacation has ended.
