Stuck is a 2017 independent drama film directed and written by Michael Berry. The film stars Buddy Boyd, Chris Crutchfield, Rusty Duke, and Rael Thigpen in lead roles. The movie takes us through the life of a bond trader named Brandi, played by Rael Thigpen. She is hosting a work dinner with a new client, a Chinese businessman, Mr. Chen. Brandi gets drunk and decides to drive home even though her drunk male co-worker suggested that he drive her home. While driving, she hits a homeless man played by Buddy Boyd, who ends up getting lodged in her car's windshield.

Brandi panics and decides to leave the man hanging from the windshield of her car while she drives to her garage. She parks the car in her garage and after some time of feeling guilty, decides to call a friend on her cell phone to come and help her dispose of the body. The friend tells her that she needs to call the police instead of trying to hide the body.

Rusty Duke plays the role of a homeless man that Brandi meets in a diner at which she is hiding. Rusty Duke's character is also struggling with personal issues, and when he realizes that Brandi needs help with getting rid of the body, he agrees to help her.

The film then shows the story of how Brandi and the homeless man team up to try and dispose of the body. As the story progresses, they find that they have more in common than they initially thought. The audience learns more about why they are in their current state in life and how their decisions have led them to this point.

During the course of the film, audiences get glimpses of the psychological damage that both Brandi and the homeless man have suffered, which has led them to the current state of despair. Through the course of the film, the two people from vastly different social backgrounds develop an unlikely bond, and they both learn from one another how to face their struggles head-on.

Chris Crutchfield plays the role of an obsessive cop who is investigating the case of the missing homeless man. The cop is shown as a complex character who is dealing with issues of his own. Throughout the movie, the cop's obsessive nature is shown, and as the story progresses, audiences get to know more about his character and his backstory.

The movie's primary themes are guilt, desperation, and redemption. The story is set in the backdrop of the American urban sprawl, and the audience gets a glimpse of the harsh realities of life for the homeless, mentally ill people in America.

While the pace of the movie might seem slow to some, the script's excellent writing and the actors' performances make up for it. The tension created in the film is a testament to the director's prowess in developing suspense, and the climax is sure to leave audiences in shock.

Overall, Stuck is an edgy movie that explores the deeper themes of life such as guilt, redemption, and desperation. The performances of the cast members are impressive, and the direction and writing make for an excellent watch. If you're looking for a thought-provoking movie that explores the darker aspects of human nature, then Stuck is definitely worth a watch.
